Would like to know
I have high cholesterol and am taking statin for it- would like to know some foods and fruits to lower it-doctor asked me to minimise my intake,I am sometimes skipping dinner to also lower my weight- I walk on many days.

Include complex carbohydrates in prescribed quantities coming from whole cereals, pulses, healthy fats in optimal ratio,restrict simple sugars,processed foods,foods containing saturated & transfat,Correct nutrional deficienciesof any  by addressing micronutrients defeciency especially vitamins D,B12,Calcium, etc Include optimal fibre in your diet Continue with your physical activity Avoid skipping meals

Hi, Lowering cholesterol is not only related with Helathy eating but also your lifestyle too. concentrate more on fresh fruits and veggies, include more and more colours in that, whole grains, healthy fats  etc can be beneficial. Don't skip Your meal. Have your meal on time. To further comment need to know your detailed history.
