I got my wisdom tooth removed in February (2 months back) and took necessary care as instructed by doctor. It was non surgical extraction.
But to date I still feel a pulsating/throbbing pain sometimes in the cavity hole.
I do use mouth wash to clean out food stuck in the cavity.
Can someone explain why do I feel such intense pain, do I need to get it checked..though I am afraid due to covid situation.
Also for how long will this pain last and the hole heal permanently?

Luke warm water gargle 5 times/day.
Apply METROHEX gel at the particular site on and around gum portions.
Before or after food, keep applied for 2-3 mins, do not swallow contaminated saliva (spit it out). Do it 5-6 times/day.
Betadine gargle twice a day after food, after gargling brush off your teeth with tooth brush and pate thoroughly.
Do these for 7-10 days.
If still doesn't subside, visit dentist.

It is unlikely for the pain to persist for this long along with wound to still not be healed.
Continue warm saline rinses 4-5 times a day for atleast 7days and take a painkiller when required.
If it still persists then it needs to be checked clinically.
