Everything depends on the position of wisdom tooth. If it is fully erupted, then extraction of wisdom tooth is easy. If it is partially erupted or in some abnormal direction, then a minor surgical removal has to be done. Generally, after removal, there is a minor swelling on the cheek for 3-4 days temporarily and also there may be slight difficulty in mouth opening for 3 days. But, there r good medications available to control these symptoms. Everything depends on the position of the tooth. U can read my article on wisdom teeth, all your doubts shall be cleared.
