Hi.. usually it takes upto 10-14 days to recover after the removal of wisdom tooth. After that your extraction site will be healed over, but if any pain persists even after that please consult your dentist.
Health Tips
Warm salt water rinses can be done twice a day to keep the extraction site clean.

Hello, since wisdom tooth removal is a kind of minor surgical procedure.Sometimes the pain will be present (ex:during chewing food or opening mouth) for few days and it will be gradually subsiding. Hope you are taking medicines and following the instructions properly prescribed by your dentist.
Next Steps
If pain persist and not at all subsiding, kindly visit your dentist and get treatment done.

Do you have x ray of that tooth? If yes then attach it for better understanding. Look if wisdom tooth is removed surgically then you may feel pain for a week or two. No need to worry about it. Warm saline water rinses as much as you can.  And if you feel swelling over face just apply ice pack over it. Still have queries then please consult with doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.

Don't worry about it. It takes time to heal after extraction of wisdom tooth. You just follow an instructions given by your doctor.

There could be a large number of reasons for the pain. Best thing to do for now however is to wait and watch for an additional week. If there is no improvement a fresh x ray and a new diagnosis is required. In my experience of thousands of wisdom tooth surgeries however, I have had several patients with similar concerns who became alright after a few days of "wait and watch".
Next Steps
you should ask your dentist for a review or get a second opinion from an oral surgeon who specialises in such surgeries. in the meantime try warm saline rinses and a mild otc painkiller.
Health Tips
do not try to feel the surgical site with your tongue or finger. ensure the stitches stay on till it's time to remove.
