Usually no wisdom tooth erupt after 21-23 years of age because root formation is completed by this age. It is just these teeth fail to erupt and due to there improper postion they create infection in overlying gums at different times. It is advisable to get an appointment with a detist for removal of this tooth. Antibiotics and pain killer will relieve the problem only for some time and then the problem will be repeated. Also the wisdom tooth is not mich helpfull in chewing neither removal of tooth will affect eye sight or any such thing so no benefit of keeping it.
Next Steps
get x-ray and extraction (removal ) of the tooth as soon as possible

Namaskaram, Your symptoms suggests that the fever is due to the infected wisdom tooth (clinical correlation required). I advice you to take a pain killer immediately. It only relieves the symptoms but does not treat the underlying cause hence, you need to see a dentist as soon as possible. I also suggest you to gargle regularly with lukewarm salt water and keep the area clean to avoid further infection. Hope this helps you. Thank you, Shambhala Group.
