When upper wisdom tooth gives you pain or there is food lodgement or the area is difficult to clean then get the tooth removed. Wisdom tooth removal is a routine procedure. If you are scared then you can remove one wisdom tooth at a time. If you remove together then the surgical sites will heal together. You will not have to face the procedure and its discomfort twice.
Next Steps
Go as per your dentist's suggestion.

The problem with wisdom tooth is it has high probability of getting cavity as our brush doesn't reach its back area properly. If lower tooth is removed it means the upper tooth is not functionally important. And there is a chance of supra eruption. I suggest you get both removed together. I hope i was able to clear your doubt
