Will i get Rabies or not ?
I am trying to adopt a stray dog. I feed it daily and it is very friendly with me. Today i cut my hand with screw driver. The cut was really small. It didnt bleed but a little blood came out at first. So I usually touch the dog body and scratch its head. Today i did the same but my cut touched its fur. Can i get rabies from this? I live in asia. Plus the dog wasnt vaccinated. After touching the dog i washed my hand also.

Please As you will be attached to your pet, complete vaccination with rabipur vaccine will be safe for you. Take 5 doses of Inj rabipur at nearby general physician as per schedule written on card supplied in Inj box.

Chances are rare as you haven't been scratched or bitten by the dog. For your cut, it's better to take a tt injection if you've but taken it within the last 5 years. Also if you're planning to adopt the dog, get it vaccinated
