I have 2 white spots/dots near my tonsils region,they do not cause any pain nor difficulty while eating & swallowing etc. I visited a dentist & she said it is tonsillitis,what should I do next? Should I be worried?

White spot in that region usually indicates a tonsillolith.. if it is asymptomatic you need not worry.. when ever you feel it symptomatic just visit an ENT specialist.

Clinical examination can diagnose the condition.
But as per your complaint , these dots may be tonsil stones called as "Tonsillolith". Tonsillolith may not produces pain, but produces bad breath.
While in tonsillitis means inflamation of tonsil because of bacterial or viral infection, pain difficulty in swallowing occurs.
If you having small tonsillolith, you need not to worry. But if it is bigger you must show it to ENT or oral pathologist or dentist.
