I have a small rough white patch and nearer to it a small painless lump opposite to my upper front teeth...is this normal?

Kindly post a picture of the concerned area.
Secondly, provide history of smoking/tobacco chewing/alcohol consumption.
Since when is the white patch present, has there been a change in its size ?
