Hi from past few months I've under a stress and mild depression. I feel like I'm stuck in my past and unable to let go.
I'm looking forward to consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist but unable to identify which one. So looking for some help regarding the same.
Thanks

Hello friend,
Generally a person who has mild/ moderate issues will visit a psychologist/ psychotherapist. When the issue is severe that even daily life, work, routine is not manageable or if the person is feeling suicidal then we suggest to meet a psychiatrist because only the psychiatrist can prescribe medication .Psychologists and Psychotherapists do not prescribe medication but help with counselling and therapy.
