Sublingual nitrates given usually
Self medication only if previously prescribed by any other doctor with same issue
Otherwise consultation needed for further evaluation and treatment guidelines
A Nitroglycerin sublingual tablet should be kept under the tongue until you take him/her to the hospital when you have sever chest pain and difficulty breathing .
But there are many other disease which resembles like heart attack.
If you have histroy of heart attack better to carry this tablet with you always.
Get ecg if you have any chest pains, breathing difficulties ,tiredness or uneasiness.
