I have to do dental filling from a local doctor in one of my tooth. Can you suggest which filling material is best?

No filling material is best. Its the way the endodontist carries out the filling procedure makes the material best. Make sure u go to a specialist!!

Depaends on the area where filling is required, the depth of the cavity and whether it is front tooth or at the back. Ceramic fillings are generally aesthetic and strength is also good. Silver fillings in very deep and contact area cavities may work well

if u use combination of composite and gic ,it will be the best ,gic will prevent further decay by long term flouride release and composite will  give natural aesthetic look to the tooth.

Gic, amalgam,and composite all are good it vary on the size and location of cavity
