No not implants and neither any surgery or dental extraction causes cancer . A cancer is usually caused at a site by metastasis and sometimes when cancerous cells are present already at a site and any surgery or extraction happens there , the cancerous cells multiply rapidly and it creates a misconception to individuals that extraction or surgery has caused cancer . So relax there are no chances or probability that anyone can have cancer just by placing implants.

Dear, please don’t worry dental implants do not cause cancer. Implants are made from biocompatible materials, which are safely accepted by the body and have been used for decades in dentistry. Extensive scientific research and long-term studies have found no link between dental implants and cancer or any form of tumour formation. If you’re experiencing any discomfort or unusual symptoms around your implant, it’s best to visit your implantologist for a follow-up check, but rest assured the implant itself is safe and not carcinogenic.

No - dental implants do not cause cancer. This is a common fear, but there is no scientific or clinical evidence linking titanium or zirconia implants with any form of cancer or tumor formation. Dental implants are made from biocompatible materials (mainly medical-grade titanium) that have been used safely in human bone for over 40 years not only in dentistry, but also in orthopedic joint replacements and craniofacial surgeries. What sometimes causes confusion are rare cases of: Peri-implantitis (gum/bone infection around the implant), or Allergic reaction to titanium (extremely uncommon, not cancerous). These are local inflammatory conditions and can be managed easily with professional care they are not related to malignancy or cancer. If you’ve recently had an implant and the site feels sore or swollen, it’s best to have it reviewed usually it’s a healing or gum inflammation issue, not something serious. So rest assured: dental implants are one of the safest, most researched, and long-term reliable treatments in modern dentistry.
