Namaskaram, If teeth are very loose, they can be splinted or joined together like pickets in a fence so that any biting force is distributed among groups of teeth rather than individual loosened teeth.Splinting can be acheived by: 1. Temporary-splinting materials attached to tooth by bonding. 2.Permanent-through crowns. The term "root canal" is commonly used to describe a procedure for treating inflammation or a bacterial infection deep inside a tooth, as in "you need a root canal." The purpose of root canal treatment is to relieve the pain and stop the infection. Team Shambhaala.

Splinting is a procedure to support the tooth that are already loose or to hold the teeth in place. A wire is placed behind your teeths and this holds it in proper place. RCT is a procedure in which the pulp of the tooth is removed and is refilled with a suitable material.
