What causes high levels of tsh
My mother-in-law who is 60 years of age had taken a master check in the last month. It was shocking to see that her TSH levels were triple the normal range. All other investigations were within normal limits. What can be the cause of such high levels of TSH? Is it anything to worry about?

As the  age advances thyroid malfunctions  I have to give medication for thyroid and also any concomitant disease
