Hi Akshay, Firstly I want to know 1.how much is ur weight now? 2.What is ur BMI? 3.Do you have any medical issues? 4.What have u tried and for how long and how effectively did you follow the program or diet to lose weight... If u answer all these questions I will be able to guide you on your question regarding gastric bypass surgery/ bariatric surgery *If your BMI is more than 40 kg/m2 then you can think of surgery... If not then it is not required and you should not go for it.   I am a Bariatric counselor and Nutritionist in Jaypee Hospital Noida... I counsel patients who undergo the surgery or who are planning to go for it... There are certain guidelines to follow. I can also guide you with Medical Weight loss treatment which is through diet and exercise as I am an expert in the same field since 7 yrs... If you could visit me I will be able to guide u in a detailed way abt both the treatment lines and you can then decide.

Dear Akshay, I hope you understand that your question is about surgery . This is an extremely difficult task for a long term dietary choices. Secondly, you would need to provide me details about your concern about your weight and any other relevant medical information about your self for me to better guide you. Lastly, if you are going for weight loss for reasons like body image and physique than I am sure you know this is surgery and is going to be life changing. Having said this, if you have taken a deep look at your options and seeking for post surgery dietary guidelines , than you will need diet plans for more than 6 to 8 months to help your body heal and for you to feel well. I hope I clarified your question to your satisfaction . But as you know balanced diet alone is responsible for your 80% possibility of weight loss and only 20% is physical activity or surgery. I as an nutrition expert with a phd and 5 plus years of experience in this field can still help you to loose weight without having to do surgery.

Plz don’t go fr it . Choose any dietitian and do it naturally. Just choose it in healthy way . Your weight is not that much . You just need 4-5 months discipline with food n exercise . Simpler than it feels . Surgeries are hard to deal with . Plz don’t opt that . Consult directly
