Based on the weights provided, your baby’s weight gain appears a little on the lower side but not alarming. The important thing is that weight is increasing steadily. Please ensure effective feeding and continue regular weight monitoring with your pediatrician. A single weight value is less important than the overall growth trend.

Greetings weight gain for an infant who grows from 2.55 kg to 3.795 kg in approximately 10 weeks is roughly 124 grams per week, which is generally considered within a healthy range. Most newborns are expected to gain about 150–200 grams per week in the first few months, though this varies based on individual growth curves. It is important to plot these measurements on a WHO growth chart to ensure the baby is following their own consistent percentile. Potential reasons for variation include feeding frequency

At birth, her weight was 2.55 kg. By 10 weeks (approximately 2 months and 9 days), she weighs 3.795 kg. This means she has gained a total of 1.245 kg since birth. Average Weekly Gain: She has been gaining an average of about 120 to 130 grams per week. While the absolute ideal average for the first three months is typically around 150–200 grams per week, a total gain of nearly 1.25 kg in just over 2 months for a baby born at 2.55 kg is steady and acceptable. She is consistently moving upward on her own growth curve.
