Care AI Shimmer
Hello Your baby is growing well. A weight gain of around 30 grams per day is ideal, and your baby has achieved that. This shows feeding is adequate, and your baby is thriving.
Next Steps
Continue encouraging breastfeeding as the main feed Use formula only to supplement if: Baby seems unsatisfied after feeds Weight gain slows down Mother’s supply is low Avoid overfeeding formula as it may reduce breastfeeding
Health Tips
Next check weight again at 10–12 weeks Also monitor: Urine output (≥6 wet nappies/day) Baby’s alertness and activity Development milestones

Your baby’s weight gain is completely normal. Gaining around 1.1 kg in 6 weeks shows that feeding is going well and your baby is growing as expected. Keep offering regular feeds, watch for wet diapers, and give tummy time and gentle stimulation
