I have recently started working out and it has been 4-5 months now. I walk for 40-60 min everyday too. I have also started a decent diet (not anything extreme). I still see an increase in the weight and more of the fat is stored in my mid belly region which seems increasing . Could this be because of increased cortisol level (given I do take a bit of stress) or is there any other reason for my weight gain. What type of doctor should I consult regarding this ?
