Weakness and tiredness
Hi, I started feeling weak and exhausted in May after contracting typhoid. Weight gain of 82 to 90 kg, lack of work and exhaustion, upset stomach, sometimes stomach pain, occasional headache, and occasionally eating after feeling weak. Despite taking B12, D3 or other multivitamins, my weakness still exists. Typhoid last happened in 2018. Any best ayurvedic treatment for upset stomach, weight loss, and regaining normal energy and stamina

In Ayurveda, this picture fits a post-fever recovery state known as Jvara-Mukta Avastha. The root issue here is that the infection has completely wiped out his Agni (digestive fire). When your digestive fire is weak, your body can't process food properly, creating a toxic sludge called Ama. Because this Ama is blocking the body's channels, nutrients aren't reaching the tissues, which causes a deep drop in Ojas (vital energy and immunity). This explains why multivitamins aren't helping—the body simply isn't absorbing them. The rapid weight gain is also tied to this slow, sluggish metabolism.

Health Tips
give your gut a total break by sticking to a strict diet of warm, easily digestible meals like moong dal khichdi and fresh buttermilk, while completely avoiding oily, spicy, or heavy foods. Finally, prioritize aggressive rest with 8 to 9 hours of solid sleep, skip any heavy workouts.

Your symptoms—persistent weakness/exhaustion, recent weight gain, digestive upset and intermittent abdominal discomfort after an episode diagnosed as typhoid—can occur during prolonged recovery from an infection, but they should not automatically be attributed to “post-typhoid weakness.” Typhoid itself commonly causes weakness, headache, appetite disturbance and abdominal symptoms, but persistent symptoms require consideration of other gastrointestinal, nutritional, metabolic and sleep-related factors as well. Since you have already been taking B12, vitamin D and multivitamins without meaningful improvement, simply adding more supplements is unlikely to address the underlying cause.
Next Steps
I would recommend a proper clinical assessment before starting an Ayurvedic regimen, particularly because you have ongoing abdominal symptoms along with significant fatigue and weight change. From an Ayurvedic perspective, treatment can be planned according to Agni, Aam, Koshta and Prakriti, with the initial focus generally being on correcting digestion and gradually restoring strength rather than immediately using heavy Rasayana preparations. Health Tips
For the time being, keep meals simple, warm, freshly prepared and easy to digest, with adequate protein and vegetables as tolerated. Avoid frequent fried foods, very spicy meals, excessive sugar, alcohol and highly processed foods. Instead of aggressive dieting for weight loss, aim for gradual weight reduction through regular walking/exercise and consistent meal timing. Maintain adequate sleep and hydration, and increase physical activity gradually rather than pushing through severe exhaustion. If you develop persistent fever, worsening abdominal pain, blood/black stools, repeated vomiting, significant unintentional weight loss or marked weakness, seek medical evaluation promptly. Thank you
