Hello,
My 1.4 years old son is suffering from watery or loose stool 3 to 4 times a day. Few days ago he had diarrhea and became normal after treatment with oflomac-forte. After taking medicine he was constipated for some days but stool was hard but slimy. Then again automatically the stool consistency became watery but frequency is less.
Please suggest.

At 1.4 years age, based on child s intake, there can be semi solid stool. 1 to 3 episodes of stools r normal.
As child has come out of previous illness, take note of current pattern of stool with respect to consistency and frequency. If there is a change in the normal pattern of stool only, you need to think.
Take proper care of food and hand hygiene.
