Hi
Initially there is rapid weight for 2-3 months, then weight gain slows down a bit. It won’t be like he will be gaining 2 kg every month. His weight is absolutely fine. Small spit ups after feed are normal. Make sure to burp the baby after feeding. His head shape will normalise when he starts to sit. There is nothing to worry about as of now.

Hello
His weight is appropriate for his age.. regarding his spit up this is common as we call gastroesophageal reflux where he vomits milk.. this is because of immature sphincter between his esophagus and stomach which will develop over time..
For this you need to burp the baby after every feed put him on shoulder or make him sit on ur lap with neck support.. but if there is persistent vomiting more than 4-5 episodes everyday after feed, child is having difficulty while feeding, irritable and crying on feeds , sleep is disturbed, projectile yellowish vomiting you need to consult paediatrician..as he has cold this might be a cause of spit up.. put nasal saline drops 10-15 min before every feed..it is reassuring that his chest is clear..
Regarding hair fall and flat head as the child is constantly rubbing his head onto the mattress and constant sleeping on one side is the reason.. don’t worry there will be regrowth.. give him tummy time which will strengthen his muscles and is also important for further developmental milestones.
From what you’ve described, your baby appears to be growing very well. A birth weight of 3.3 kg increasing to 7.1 kg at 4 months is excellent. Weight gain naturally slows after the first 3–4 months, so gaining 1 kg this month is still normal.
Spitting up small amounts of curdled milk after feeds is very common at this age because the lower esophageal sphincter is still immature. It may become more noticeable now that he has started rolling. As long as he is feeding well, gaining weight, and is not having forceful vomiting, green vomit, blood in vomit, choking, or breathing difficulty, this is usually physiological reflux and improves by 9–12 months.
For the cold, if he is breathing comfortably, feeding well, and has no fever or chest indrawing, supportive care (saline nasal drops and gentle suction if needed) is sufficient.
Hair shedding around 3–6 months is also normal and temporary. It usually regrows without treatment.
A flat area on one side of the head (positional plagiocephaly) is common in babies who prefer one side. Continue putting him to sleep on his back, but when awake, increase supervised tummy time and encourage him to turn his head to both sides during play and feeding. If the flattening is severe or he has difficulty turning his neck to one side, he should be evaluated for torticollis.
Overall, based on your description and your pediatrician’s examination, there are no obvious warning signs. Continue regular follow-up and seek medical attention if he develops persistent forceful vomiting, poor feeding, poor weight gain, breathing difficulty, or high fever.
Greetings
Your baby's total weight of 7.1 kg at 4 months is fully appropriate and healthy, as it is normal for early, rapid weight gain to taper down to about 1 pound (0.5 kg) per month around this age.
Spitting up curdled, white milk is a common sign of mild infant reflux and typically happens because the stomach's valve is still maturing or due to the physical pressure of learning to roll over.
To help minimize the reflux, try offering slightly smaller, more frequent formula feedings, burp him thoroughly halfway through, and hold him upright for 20 to 30 minutes afterward.
Temporary infant hair shedding is a natural hormone-driven transition, while his mild cold symptoms can be managed by gently clearing excess mucus with a saline spray or nasal bulb aspirator.
For the flat spot on his head, prioritize plenty of supervised "tummy time" while he is awake to naturally relieve structural pressure from the back of his skull.
