Water like clear fluid leakin frm nipple
Hello Doctor, Myself Pooja, age 27 yrs , in around 21 weeks pregnancy have been experiencing leakage from my both nipples water like clear fluid for last few couple of days. My gynae prescribed pyridoxine 100 mg  tablet & Duvadilon  100 mg . Is there anything to worry?

You do not need either of the medicine prescribed It is normal to experience leaking of clear fluid The breast tissue  is preparing for lactation Do not stimulate and press the nipples as that can lead to pretem labour

Slight amount of discharge is normal from breasts due to the hormonal changes preparing breasts for milk production. No need to worry

Hi Pooja. That’s your breast preparing for feeding your baby. Just don’t keep pressing it, wear a tight brassiere. It will settle on its own. Keep a watch on baby movements
