Hi, Adequate water intake is very important for a baby's good digestion. Around 200- 240 ml of water is good for a 10 months baby. Buttermilk is the good option of fluid intake along with nutrition and can be given safely if the baby not willing to have water.

Greetings for the day!!!       If babies are not interested to drink plain water, fluids in the form of milk, juices, any flavoured juice can be given to create the interest to drink fluids. Symptoms of dehydration like dry lips, hard stools, concentrated color urine are to be checked in the baby from time to time. Veg and Non veg Soups, dhal water, whey water, tender coconut water, buttermilk can be substituted for the child.
Next Steps
A proper balanced diet plan at adequate time interval will help in proper growth and development
Health Tips
Force feeding should be avoided at all times. Try to develop curiosity for the child to try out different foods Coloured foods and drinks can have a positive effect on children to try out the foods Thank you
