Any doctor can prescribe zolendronic acid.
It is a bisphosponate. It is mainly given to treat osteoporosis intravenously.
Side effects include fever, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, cramps etc.
Next Steps
Patient to sleep for 2 hours post injection.
Dosage is one per year for 3 years.

It is very important to test for serum calcium,phosphorus and serum urea, creatinine as the drug gets mainly excreted by kindneys.
