Vitamin K injection
My wife is 8 month pregnant. Having high bile acid 19 and high sgot and sgpt. Our gynaecologist prescribed vitamin K injection. Is it safe .

Vitamin K is safe,though it's preferred at the time of delivery. Since bile acids are elevated,your obstetrician will start on a drug to reduce it. Bile acids levels to be repeated. Delivery should be planned at 37 weeks.
