High bile acids, sgot, sgpt in pregnancy
My wife is 35 weeks 2 days pregnant with diabetes. Two weeks before sgot 306, sgpt 356. She was on udiliv 300 twice a day for last 2 weeks. Today Bile Acid 29. Sgot 233, sgpt 318. Now Gynae referred us to Gastroenterologist. Gastroenterologist prescribed 3 medicines twice a day - ursocol 300 mg, Toconaf and Heptral 400 mg. She really need these medicines. Are these medicines safe in pregnancy.

These medications are safe in pregnancy. But since she’s 35weeks 2 days, thorough evaluation and scheduling delivery will be a better option after giving injections for fetal lung maturity etc.
