High bile acid, sgot sgpt in pregnancy
My wife is 36 weeks 2 days pregnant with diabetes. 10 days before, her liver enzymes were sgot - 233, sgpt 318 and bile acid - 29. Today repeat testing was done. Her sgot - 228, sgpt - 298 and bile acid is 26. She was on udiliv and vitamin E twice a day for last 3-4 weeks. Can we wait till 12 Jan (i.e. 9 more days) for cesarean deliveery

Hope you are taking the correct dosage of udiliv If the ultrasound is normal you should deliver after 5 days That is 37 completed weeks Waiting beyond might complicate the pregnancywaiting beyond might complicate the pregnancy

Yes you can wait if there is no other fetal problem. Strictly watch for fetal movements and if not perceiving consult with gynaecologist physically
