You should go for no special investigations.
All Vitamins of B group (including Vit B12) are water soluble vitamins . Excess will be excreted by the kidneys over a period of time.

High vitamin b12 could be if if u have been taking supplements for a longer time or even in some people it can be a normal variant as well.
