I have been taking Vit d supplements and eating Vit d rich foods as well as sitting under sun for min 30mins a day for nearly 2 weeks. I have been doing all these for 2 weeks now.
I still have some pricking/needle like pain sensation in my knees and sometimes knee pain when I try climbing stairs. when will the sensation and pain go away???

Your symptoms are not consistent with vit D deficiency. Also vit D metabolism is long process. Have you consulted anyone before starting the dose. There could be various causes for the symptoms you have mentioned.

What medicine r u taking .
Deficiency of vit d leads to osteomalacia. (A painful bones and muscles condition due to deficiency of calcium and vitaminD). It will take some times 6/8 weeks treatment.

The knee pain is not due to any vitamin deficiencies. It is due to your sitting habits that has lead to weakness of muscles around knee and hip and development of patellofemoral pain. Focus on sitting habits and don't overstuff yourselves with vitamins to develop toxicity.
