I had fever like flue for a week each for five times in last one year.
Never had fever before this for years. This is the first time. Not able to understand why I am falling sick with fever so easily this year. I got vaccination done and didn't have sever COVID. The first episode of fever happened in 2020. Very mild with weakness and was gone in two days. I lost my smell and taste then. So it might be COVID. But post that episode of fever it's the 5th time I am down with viral like symptoms.
Please let me know what could be the underlying reason or should I get any tests done?

Some of us have a tendency to get afflicted by flu more often than others. Due to various genetic and environmental causes. There are some preventive measures which we can take too. But it's also important to rule out anything organic , which might probably be leading to recurrent infections.
