My daughter who is 14 months not gaining weight and height although she eats properly and takes milk. She gained very good weight in first 3 months after that she is very slow gainer. She is only 8 kgs at 14 months .. height 72 cm. What may be the possible reason for her slow gain .. her birth weight was 3.1 kg and height was 19.5 cm.. she looks very tiny as per her age.. me and my husband both are tall.

Ideal weight gain is twice of birth weight at five months, thrice at one of age and four times at 2 years.
Barring chronic illness, weight gain depends on oral intake.
Give just 2 top milk feeds using a glass, stop breastfeeding, give 4 solid meals a day including curd and Banana in the diet in addition to whatever you prepare at home.
If weight gain is good, height will automatically follow, but as it depends on a lot of factors, don't fret about it.
