Varicose veins
Hi, my mom who is 50 yrs of age has varicose veins in both legs, more in one leg and less in the other. Varicose veins are below the knee. They are purplish and greenish in color. Are we suppose to treat this or not?

Varicose veins are categorized as:- Uncomplicated (cosmetic)- With local symptoms (pain confined to the varices, not diffuse),and With local complications. You need to consult with a general or vascular surgeon to see which category she is in and treat accordingly after doing the Doppler study
