Vaginal swelling and itching
I've been experiencing itching and swelling in my vaginal area for the past 2 weeks just after my menstrual period, it happens every time after my menstruation period and it lasts 2 to 3 weeks.the itching is quite severe specially at night and swelling and itching seems to be around the outer vaginal area (in vulva).I'm concerned and would like to know how to treat this is there any ointment for this or do I need to see doctor. Please assist.

One cause is a fungal infection which gets flared up after periods. Another cause can be the allergy to sanitary pads. Please change the brand of sanitary pads. Too much use of vaginal washes can also be a cause.
