Intense itching of vagina and vulva is generally due to fungal infection.
You can use some antifungal vaginal gel.
In addition, a course of Fluconazole.
Local hygiene should be maintained. Avoid synthetic undergarments.
Keep the area clean and dry.
Avoid use of vaginal washes.
