Vaginal candida infection
I had vaginal irritation. Swab revealed Candida Tropicalis infection ( non albican species). Dr. Prescribed fluconazole 150 mg for 14 days and probiotics and then weekly once for 3 months. she said since it's a non albican species the dosage is different and to prevent its re occurrence it's required to complete the dosage. I earlier had candida albican infection 1 year back due to antibiotics and it cleared in just two doses of fluconazole. Please suggest if I'm on right track and should trust the Dr.
