If I experienced arm ache after the tetanus diphtheria booster does this mean the injection went into the muscle and has worked? I am worried that the nurse didn’t inject in the right place as I have a cyst on my arm which I’m worried would have hindered the vaccine somehow.

Hello..Well injection site abscess would have occurred ..You need not worry about it. It will resolve within 4 weeks time...I would suggest you to give hot fomentation in that area..And also course of antibiotics if it doesn't subside..Even after that ...If persistence is seen them we will have to do a incision and drain the serum/pus out...Thank you
