DPT shots and boosters given in childhood continue to provide protection and then older children get DT or dT vaccines which also have Tetanus toxoid.
Pregnant women receive TT shots.
Therefore, it is very unlikely that someone you get than 45 may not have received any TT shot.
If last TT shot was given 10 years or longer time back, get two TT shots 4 weeks apart.
