Hi i would like to know whether covid vaccination can be given to lactating Mothers. Is it safe? What precautions should we take if we go and vaccinated.

Yes, according to latest guidelines, lactating women can take covid vaccine. You can continue feeding your child. If fever or bodyache happens post vaccination, please don't take any medicine other than paracetamol without consulting with your obstetrician.

Yes now There is data available for covid-19 vaccination related effect on lactating mother /expected mothers- to baby.
Hence better to take vaccination if mother is lactating or pregnent.
Just avoid vaccination in first trimester pregnency.
