UTI - trying to conceive
I have been dealing with a urinary tract infection (UTI) for the past two days, and my urine culture report indicates the following: Organisms: Citrobacter koseri Clinical Count: >10^5 CFU/ml (significant) I consulted a urologist, who suggested that I take Augmentin 625 mg tablets for 15 days, along with cranberry extract tablets. Additionally, I have been trying to conceive for the past two months, and I have already passed my ovulation period this cycle. Could you please advise if it is safe to take Augmentin 625 mg while trying to conceive?
