Apart from the size, the location of the fibroid is important. If your fibroid is not touching the cavity of your uterus; it is unlikely to cause you problem during pregnancy. Having said that, any fibroid of size more than 3cm may affect your chance of fertility since a big fibroid can alter the blood flow to the uterus.
Next Steps
Try for pregnancy for a couple of months. Get a basic fertility assessment done for both of you
Health Tips
If you do not conceive in a couple of months; and if your doctor feels that fibroid is causing a problem, you may need to have the fibroid removed. Be in touch with your doctor since if you need a fibroid removal; you may not be able to plan for pregnancy for a couple of months after surgery.

If fibroid is not distorting endometrial cavity or tubes, we can let it be and try for natural pregnancy. Posterior wall fibroid is less likely to cause complications during pregnancy as well. You may visit your gynaecologist to visit in detail
