USG with TVS probe impression
What does the following mean.. Is it something serious and life threatening or conceiving will be at risk? Note 1) TVS was done 4-5 days after the commencement of periods. 2) My wife had miscarriage 1 yr back, in 1.5 months of pregnancy, wash was done via oral medicine, she does not have diabetes, thyroid or high/low BP Report/Impression from USG with TVS probe 1) Hyperechoic area measuring 7x4 mm noted in within the endometrial cavity of lower uterine cavity 2) Thick cervix 3) Right ovary is normal in size. Left ovary is bulky in size. Multiple small peripherally arranged follicles are seen in both of the ovaries without any follicular dominance and echogenic stroma within it. Right ovary measured 34x17x29mm vol 9cc(approx) . Left ovary measured 31x19x36mm vol 11cc approx. Impression- Bilateral ovarian polycystic morphology
