Hi. My friend underwent medical Abortion on March 5th. Her bleeding from the abortion had stopped by March 15. Did Beta HCG test 4 times over the last 3 weeks and all turned out to be below 0.01 She got her periods 3 days ago. We did USG abdomen and Pelvic scan today. I have attached the Report. Please advice whether there's any complications and any further medical intervention is required

She had medical abortion on 5 March. Bleeding stopped on 15 March. She got her periods on 29 March (3 days ago). Her beta HCG is 0.01. I wonder if she was really pregnant. Perhaps this abortion was done as a part of self medication.

It is normal report,, wait for ten days whatever clot is there will dissolve on its own, no need to go for D&C or any procedure. Take Microdox LBX tan 100mg One tab morning One tab evening after food for 3 days

As beta HCG is negative , and her ultrasound shows a small clot which can be a retained piece of abortus material or blood clot . But If she has got her periods , and goes beyond her normal cycle or if she has lower abdominal pain she can do a repeat scan after her periods to see if the clot persists and then go for D&C procedure.
