Mouthwashes for long term use are not safe, as they destroy the good microbes( that are helping in digestion). The bad breath might be due to the following 1. Deposits in teeth and gums - do professional cleaning 2. Deposits in tongue - clean your tongue daily 3. Due to medication that you are taking - consult your physician for help 4. Due to stomach ulcers- visit physician 5. Any caries- get it filled or do RCT in or extraction 6. Due to smoking or drinking- better avoid it.

Health Tips
The gap between brushing and mouthwash should be 2 hours. Mouthwashes can be used for a week or 10 days at maximum. Hope this helps sir

A mouthwash such as Listerine is safe for long-term use. You can use a mouthwash once or twice a day. Just try to keep a gap of about three minutes between brushing and using a mouthwash.
