Urticaria
Hello Doctor
I have been suffering from urticaria for a year now. Have been taking antihistamine when it occurs.. Visited multiple doctors, but no solution.. any permanent cure for this?

I acknowledge and understand your concern. Urticaria is a chronic recurring condition which has few triggers. It’s best to observe your triggers and avoid them to prevent flare ups. The triggers could be certain types of food, pollen, pressure and heat too; it varies from person to person. A blood work up of your allergy markers mad thyroid profile is also necessary as you have been experiencing it since one year. A course of antihistamines is definitely the treatment but it has to be updosed in a particular manner to avoid frequent recurrences. It would be best to communicate over a video consult for better treatment outcomes.
