Urticaria and periods
Hello, I would like to know if there is a connection between urticaria and periods? I have urticaria and get hives on exposure to mold but no other allergens. I was exposed to mold for 3 months and was on antihistamines and upon changing my surroundings it stopped the hives. After this I'm having prolonged periods of 20 days with spotting and sometimes heavy, I consulted a nutritionist because gynecologist referred me to her, nutritionist put me on diet with restrictions for allergy causing foods.. although I don't have food allergies... will this help?? Please guide me..

The pattern of your periods is more the effect of hormone imbalance than the food allergy.  I suggest you also should try to regularise your periods by hormone therapy rather than anti-allergens.

Prolonged periods for 20 days seems to be a priority right now. Please take a second opinion of a gynaecologist first.
