Proteinuria and RBCs in urine should not be assumed to be a simple UTI. Whether fosfomycin is appropriate depends on your symptoms, urine culture & sensitivity, and clinical evaluation. Please share the complete urine report, culture report, and your symptoms for proper advice.

Based on the reports you have shared: Urine routine: Protein: + Blood: + Leukocytes (pus cells): 40–50/HPF (significant) RBCs: 6–8/HPF Epithelial cells: 2–3/HPF Urine culture: Klebsiella pneumoniae with a count of 100,000 CFU/mL (10⁵ CFU/mL). This is consistent with a significant urinary tract infection (UTI) caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae. Will Fosfomycin work?- Yes, but only in higher doses. As this came as an Intermediate Drug for this. This antibiotic might work, but only under specific conditions—such as if used at higher doses or if the drug concentrates heavily in the urinary tract.
Next Steps
Take the antibiotic exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if your symptoms improve early. Drink adequate fluids unless your doctor has advised you to restrict them. If you develop fever, flank pain, vomiting, or your symptoms worsen despite treatment, contact us. For a detailed evaluation and personalized guidance, you may connect with us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5. We will assess your digestive symptoms comprehensively and recommend an appropriate management plan.
Health Tips
Drink 2–3 liters of water daily unless you have been advised otherwise. Increase your intake of fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes gradually. Continue regular physical activity, but avoid overtraining and ensure you are eating enough to support your workouts. Limit spicy, oily, alcohol, and highly processed foods if they worsen your gastritis. Avoid straining during bowel movements and maintain a regular toilet routine. The combination of constipation, gastritis, low energy, and lightheadedness deserves a proper medical assessment, but a "disbalanced navel" is not considered an evidence-based explanation for these symptoms. Most people improve once the actual underlying cause is identified and treated. Thank you
