Is baby having cold, cough along with breathing difficulty?
Please consult your doctor immediately if there is abnormal breathing noise
Newborns take time to adjust to environment outside mother’s womb. So sleep disturbances are common. They usually sleep in a stretch of 40min to 90 min. Start with a simple daily routine, feed regularly every 2-3 hours, and make sure the room light is dim and surrounding quiet when baby sleeps. Co-bedding with mother helps them to calm and sooth resulting in better sleep quality
You can try swaddling the baby and keeping them warm when trying to put them to sleep
For exclusively breastfed baby, passing stool once in a week is also normal. You can try tummy massages for relieving any gas.
