Upper jaw stiffness after septoplasty
I got my septoplasty and turbinoplasty ( impinging right turbinate) 3 days back, every time I open my mouth to drink or eat upper jaw area and Area between 2 nasal holes feels stiff and discomfort and bleeding everytime I open mouth I am doing nasal washes yet my right nasal is always congested and nasal drops could not even go inside the nose. I could not reach out to my surgeon please help me out

In early post op period you will have discomfort like this but it subsides with time have faith. blood stained nasal secretions and bleeding are very different things so don't worry just follow your doctor's instructions

Saline nasal wash 4 to 5 times daily you can do. Visit ent doctor inperson for nasal crust clearence. It will take time to become normal
