My Grandson is in a play school, 3 Yr 10 months old. He is still on feeding bottle, takes lot of of sweets and like ice-cream, does not eat regular food, keeps changing his food preference, used to take lot of dates, then switched over to puffed rice, then to noodles, then to Lays chips, etc, but his lain course of food is only Lactogen-4 milk powder. He is very fast in learning, very intelligent Vocabulary is excellent. He doesn't have the habit of listening to anyone. Always busy doing something, naughty. For last 5 months, he picks up unprovoked fights, scratch others with his nail, bitting with teeth. All of a sudden he beats with full vigour, furiously with full energy, throws objects, as it happens with hysteria patience. It always ends up with him getting beaten up by his mother or grand-parents. He cries uncontrollably, till we say sorry to calm him.
It appeared to us that he is expressing hunger in this manner, but when we offer food , he refuses.

It is likely a pampered child with behavioral problems due to unhealthy parenting. Get the child evaualted by a child psychiatrist in detail and behavior therapy likely will help.
Does he have other younger sibling???for attention gaining also some kids behave like this…understand y he does tat before hand….unmet needs might be there…if there is no requirement for him n hez only doing this without any reason then get evaluated with child psychiatrist once
Please visit a Child psychiatrist , someone with a DM or PDF in child psychiatry. The child is too young to be evaluated by an adult psychiatrist. Child may be wrongly diagnosed and unnecessary medications might be prescribed. Best to consult a subspecialist. You may also alternatively visit a developmental paediatrician.
